Ross Jive and Swing Homepage

Welcome to Julie and Izzy's website. We organise Modern Jive and Lindy Hop classes and Dances for the Ross on Wye area. We teach these classes with social dancing in mind rather than for competition or trying to attain awards.

We aim to make our classes fun (a sense of humour is essential!) as well as working off a few calories!  You don't need a partner to come along, we rotate partners throughout the class. This has two main benefits; firstly you learn to dance with different people which improves your own dancing and means you will be able to dance with anyone at a dance – there are quite a few in the area each month (see calendar). Secondly, it works well for people coming to the classes on their own as it is a great ice breaker, ensuring everyone in the class gets to know each other – the social side is half the fun.
