Summer Lindy Hop Workshops.

£6.00 per workshop. Balboa, Blues, Boogie Woogie, Charleston, Jazz Steps, Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing Workshop
7.30 - 9.00 for class

Summer workshops taught by Izzy & Ger over 6 weeks all to enhance your skills for social dancing.
1. West coast swing for Lindy, help you to use those sloww tunes you feel are difficult.
2. Charleston, from the basics and a lot more.
3. Blues, mmmmmm need we say more!!!! a definite style for all.
4. Extended moves (longer than the traditional 8 beat stuff)
5. Footwork variations and styling, stuff you can use independently or together to add variety to your usual moves.
6. Jazz steps and musicality, a must for all lindy hoppers this will help you incorporate jazz steps into your dancing and help you feel comfortable with some original moves that made lindy hop what it is today plus some thoughts on how to vary your dancing to suit the music.
No need to book, so come along and have some summer fun.
doors open 7.00p.m, class 7.30 - 9.00 pm and social dancing till 10 p.m Free refreshments.


Venue: Bishopswood Village Hall

If you have not been there before it is a great modern hall with an excellent dance floor, the people are always very friendly and the music played by Issy suits all tastes, even mine. From Jive to Swing, with the occasional faster tune.
Either following A 40 going towards Monmouth. Take the first exit to Goodrich (very short slip road). This little lane will take you right through Goodrich - keep going until you hit a T junction and turn left. Only about a mile and you will hit another T junction having just crossed the bridge over the River.Turn Right. You will now have the Inn on the Wye on your left - follow road about 200 yds and take the first turning on the right - it is marked Bishopswood Village Hall. Alternatively if you go into the middle of Ross, as you approach the Market Place turn left to Walford. Follow this road for 4 miles (you will pass the Inn on the Wye on your left and follow road about 200 yds and take the first turning on the right. Opposite the Inn on the Wye near Ross on Wye
